Dental Exhibitions in China 2026–2027: Where to Source
Contents

China is a core sourcing hub for dental chairs, imaging, implants, lab work, and consumables. The catalog for 2026–2027 lists eight events tagged dental or oral care. They do not duplicate each other: South China, the northeast, the north, Beijing, Shanghai, and western China run on different calendars and serve different buyer maps.

Use the comparison below to match one trip — or two buying windows — to your goal. Visitor and exhibitor counts below are the figures stored on each event page, not a press-release ranking.

1. Dental South China — spring in Guangzhou

Dates: March 3–6, 2026
Venue: Canton Fair Complex (China Import and Export Fair Complex), Guangzhou

Catalog figures:

  • 2,809 exhibitors
  • 73,325 expected visitors

Dental South China is the main southern window in the first quarter. The floor covers dental equipment and technology, laboratory systems, materials, instruments, consumables, oral hygiene, infection control, dental furniture, implantology, maxillofacial surgery, and radiology.

Best fit if you:

  • Source for South China factories and export-oriented suppliers
  • Need implants, imaging, and lab equipment in one hall
  • Can travel in early March, before the Beijing and Shanghai dates

2. China Northeast Dental Exhibition — Shenyang

Dates: March 22–25, 2026
Venue: Shenyang International Exhibition Center

Catalog figures:

  • 3,044 exhibitors
  • 46,242 expected visitors

The northeast show sits three weeks after Guangzhou. It is built for clinics, technicians, and distributors in Liaoning and neighbouring provinces: chairs, imaging, implants, instruments, and oral-hygiene products, plus symposiums on oral health.

Treat it as a regional trip, not a substitute for Dental South China or DenTech. Combine with Guangzhou only if you already need both the Pearl River Delta and the northeast dealer network.

3. Northern China Dental Expo — Shijiazhuang

Dates: May 15–17, 2026
Venue: Shijiazhuang International Convention and Exhibition Center

Catalog figures:

  • 200 exhibitors
  • 9,000 expected visitors

This is the smallest clinical show on the list. The programme includes live demonstrations and sessions on clinical practice, aesthetic dentistry, and practice management.

Use it when Hebei and the wider north matter more than a national floor — not as the only China trip of the year.

4. Sino Dental — Beijing, Koelnmesse

Dates: June 9–12, 2026
Venue: China National Convention Center (CNCC), Beijing
Organizer: Koelnmesse Beijing Ltd.
Official site: sinodental.com.cn

Catalog figures:

  • 600 exhibitors
  • 10,600 expected visitors

Sino Dental is the capital’s international dental exhibition: equipment, materials, pharmaceuticals, laboratory diagnostics, and oral-hygiene products, with education and business meetings around the floor.

Best fit if you:

  • Need a Beijing meeting calendar (distributors, associations, hospital groups)
  • Prefer an organiser already known from European medical fairs
  • Are pairing a June trip with a later Shanghai buy at DenTech

5. CDS — China Dental Show — Shanghai, CSA

Dates: August 31 – September 3, 2026
Venue: National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC), Shanghai
Organizer: China Stomatological Association
Abbreviation: CDS

Catalog figures:

  • 200 exhibitors
  • 6,500 expected visitors

CDS is not DenTech. It is earlier, smaller, and tied to the national stomatological association. The floor still spans implants, orthodontics, imaging, lab equipment, and infection control, with conferences and workshops.

Choose CDS when the association programme matters, or when you need a late-summer Shanghai date. Choose DenTech when the priority is supplier density in October.

6. DenTech China — Shanghai’s autumn flagship

Dates: October 22–25, 2026
Venue: Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center
Organizer: Shanghai International Exhibition Co., Ltd.

Catalog figures:

  • 3,281 exhibitors
  • 15,517 expected visitors

DenTech China is the main autumn dental exhibition in Shanghai. Coverage includes equipment, instruments, materials, and accessories, plus preventive and aesthetic dentistry, IT in dentistry, sterilization, medications, medical clothing, and PPE.

Best fit if you:

  • Want one Shanghai trip that covers the clinical supply chain
  • Compare Chinese manufacturers before year-end orders
  • Can stay in the city for Shanghai International Oral Care Expo a few days later

7. Shanghai International Oral Care Expo — hygiene, not the chair

Dates: October 28–30, 2026
Venue: Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC)

Catalog figures:

  • 500 exhibitors
  • 11,100 expected visitors

This show is adjacent to dentistry, not a second DenTech. The focus is oral-care and hygiene products, materials, and related devices. Use it for toothpaste, brushes, consumer oral care, and retail or OEM sourcing — not for operatory equipment.

If you already attend DenTech, the extra days in Shanghai are a cheap add-on only when oral care is on the buying list.

8. Dental Show West China — Chengdu, April 2027

Dates: April 22–25, 2027 (not 2026)
Venue: Western China International Expo City, Chengdu
Official page: wcise.com/Dentalshow

Catalog / description figures:

  • 700+ exhibitors
  • 50,000+ professional visitors
  • About 60,000 sq.m
  • Five blocks: exhibition, theme forums, academic conferences, training workshops, on-site activities

Running since 2001, Dental Show West China is the one-stop floor for central and western China. Do not put it on a 2026 itinerary; book it if Sichuan and the west are a 2027 target after the coastal shows.

Shanghai in one week: DenTech (22–25 October) then Oral Care Expo (28–30 October) at a different venue (SWEECC vs SNIEC). Plan transfer time; they are not the same hall.

Practical notes for international buyers

  • Visa. Most visitors need a Chinese visa. A business (M) visa is the usual category for trade fairs. Check current rules with the consulate — visa-free transit exists for some passports but is not a substitute for a multi-city buying trip.
  • Badge. Register on the organiser site where it exists (Sino Dental and West China list URLs in the catalog). For the others, use the event page on this site as the starting point and confirm registration on the official channel before you fly.
  • Language and samples. Bring cards, spec sheets, and certification questions. Not every booth runs English; a translator on the floor is still the default for technical buying.
  • Hotels. Guangzhou in early March and Shanghai in late October fill around major fairs. Book the district next to the venue (Pazhou for Canton Fair Complex; the Expo / Pudong cluster for SWEECC and SNIEC).
  • Do not mix oral-care beauty fairs into this list. Ingredient shows that mention oral care (cosmetics, personal care) are a different buy.

Bottom line

If you can make one trip in 2026, pick by region: Dental South China for the southern manufacturing belt in March, or DenTech China for the autumn Shanghai floor.

If you can make two, pair spring Guangzhou with October Shanghai. Add Sino Dental in June when Beijing meetings are the point, not extra booth count.

Leave Dental Show West China for April 2027 if Chengdu and western China are the next market after the coast.
