About venue
The China International Exhibition Center (Chaoyang Hall), commonly abbreviated as CIEC, is one of Beijing’s most historic and well-established exhibition venues. Located at No. 6 North Third Ring East Road in the Chaoyang District, it sits in a prime business area close to the Lufthansa Center and the Embassy District. Opened in 1985, this venue has hosted countless national and international trade fairs, making it a symbol of China’s exhibition industry growth. The complex comprises eight exhibition halls offering approximately 60,000 square meters of indoor exhibition space, along with outdoor areas that can accommodate large-scale displays and equipment. Its central location provides convenient access via major ring roads and public transportation, including nearby subway stations. The facility is equipped with standard utilities, meeting rooms, and service centers to support a wide range of events, from consumer goods shows and industrial expos to conferences and cultural exhibitions. Although newer and larger venues have emerged in Beijing, the Chaoyang Hall remains a sought-after site for organizers who value its legacy, urban accessibility, and intimate scale.
