Fujian Strait International Convention and Exhibition Center (SICEC) is a landmark exhibition venue located in Cangshan District, Fuzhou, on the southern bank of the Minjiang River. Opened in 2010, the complex was developed as a key infrastructure project for the West Bank Economic Zone, designed to strengthen economic and cultural ties between Fujian Province and Taiwan. The building’s distinctive butterfly-shaped architecture symbolizes cross-strait connection and has become an iconic feature of the city’s skyline.
Covering a total area of 120,000 square meters, SICEC comprises multiple exhibition halls, conference centers, and supporting facilities. The venue is equipped to host large-scale trade fairs, summits, and corporate events, with modern amenities for both exhibitors and attendees. Its strategic location along the riverside offers convenient access to downtown Fuzhou and transportation links.
As one of the leading convention and exhibition centers in southeastern China, SICEC regularly hosts major regional and national events, including the Cross-Strait Economic and Trade Fair and the Digital China Summit. The center plays a vital role in promoting economic integration, technological exchange, and business cooperation across the strait and beyond.
