About venue

The Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) is one of the world’s premier convention and exhibition venues, located in the bustling Wan Chai district on the northern shore of Hong Kong Island. Its iconic bird-like roof and harbourfront location make it a landmark of the city’s skyline. With over 70,000 square metres of rentable space, the HKCEC features two main exhibition halls, two convention halls, a large multi-purpose hall, and numerous meeting rooms and function spaces. The venue is directly connected to several major hotels and provides easy access to public transport, including the MTR and ferry services.

Since its opening in 1988 and subsequent expansions in 1997 and 2009, the HKCEC has established itself as a key hub for international trade fairs, conferences, and corporate events. It hosts a wide range of events spanning industries such as jewellery, books, electronics, food and beverages, fashion, and tourism. The centre’s flexible space configurations, advanced audiovisual technology, and professional services attract both regional and global organisers, making it a cornerstone of Hong Kong’s meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE) industry.

The venue operates in a unique waterfront setting with panoramic views of Victoria Harbour, offering delegates and exhibitors an inspiring environment. Its location in the heart of Hong Kong’s financial and commercial district further enhances its appeal as a strategic venue for high-profile gatherings. The HKCEC remains a symbol of Hong Kong’s status as a leading international business destination.
