The Kunming Dianchi International Convention and Exhibition Center (DCEC) is one of China's premier exhibition complexes, situated on the picturesque Fubo Peninsula along the eastern shore of Dianchi Lake in Guandu District, Kunming, Yunnan Province. Completed in 2015, the venue covers a vast total area of 5,400,000 square meters, with an indoor exhibition area of 300,000 square meters distributed across 23 halls. The complex stretches 2,600 meters from north to south and 1,000 meters from east to west, reflecting its monumental scale and capacity to host large-scale events.
As the permanent host venue for the China-South Asia Expo, DCEC plays a pivotal role in facilitating economic and cultural exchanges between China and South Asian countries. Its modern infrastructure includes spacious exhibition halls, meeting rooms, and support facilities designed to accommodate international trade fairs, conventions, cultural festivals, and corporate events. The center's strategic location in Kunming—a gateway to Southeast and South Asia—further enhances its appeal as a hub for regional exhibitions.
DCEC’s design integrates functionality with the natural beauty of its lakeside surroundings, offering visitors a unique blend of modern exhibition space and scenic environment. The venue regularly hosts major industrial expos, consumer shows, and government-led events, cementing its status as a key driver of Yunnan’s exhibition economy.
